Discover catfish in our lakes
Catfish can be found in lakes 1 and 2.
They share the lakes with numerous carp, as well as a few grass carp and large pike (up to 15 kg!).
Each lake covers 6 hectares. These fish grow larger every year. It is best to use suitable equipment to catch them. In particular, make sure you use strong nylon, thicker than 0.50 mm (braided line is not permitted for the main line).
Fishing technics
All technics are possible: live bait, dead bait, lures or spoons.
Live bait fishing
We recommend that you hook the fish behind the dorsal fin (we can provide live bait… available at reception).
What attracts catfish
You can use liver, mackerel, squid, worms, etc., but these catfish also readily accept boilies made from meat or fish mixes.
Piece of advice
Lift your bait off the bottom to optimise the presentation of your rig. For live bait fishing, you can use a bait boat.

We also have specific catfish equipment, such as large hooks ranging from 5/0 to 10/0, lines, etc.
