About our fish

For 30 years, we have been introducing new species into each lake every winter. All our fish are in excellent health.

Mirror Carp

The main quantity of the stock consists of mirror carp with irregular scales and impressive shapes. Some specimens can exceed 60 lb.

Common Carp

We have no less than 25% common carp! These fish with their golden scales offer memorable fights.

Controlled feeding

To ensure good growth and, above all, good health, we feed our fish during the winter months with highly balanced pellets (10 mm) (available for purchase).

Fishing technics

Discover our recommendations for maximising your chances of catching fish in our ponds.

Small baits

We recommend using small bait (10mm to 14mm max). Our fish are accustomed to feeding on 10mm pellets in winter.

Hook size

A maximum hook size of 6 seems reasonable to increase the chances of catching fish.

Mix according to the season

Opt for a meat mix at the beginning and end of the season, a creamy and fruity mix in summer, and a spicy mix in between seasons.

Seeds and natural products

Never forget the appeal of seeds (sweetcorn, tiger nuts) as well as maggots or earthworms when the water is cold.

When to fish for carp?

We found that the largest subjects were more easily seduced in early spring in March and just before winter in November.

Recommended

March

Early spring

The largest specimens are more easily caught in early spring. This is the ideal time for record catches.

May – June

Spawning season

Carp generally spawn in late May or early June. However, they never spawn all at once, which is not a disadvantage.

Summer

Summer season

Opt for a creamy, fruity mix in summer. Carp are active during the cooler hours of the day.

Recommended

November

End of season

Just before winter, large specimens are particularly active. Frequent catches of very large fish (29.7 kg).

Early and late season fishing

Take advantage of March and November to ‘fill up’ on excitement. Carp remain active during these months.

We frequently see impressive catches with very large fish (29.7 kg).
